Medical Director | Bruce M. Freedman M.D., FACS
- Dr. Freedman graduated from Duke University School of Medicine in 1982 and is currently the medical director of Crowell Reconstructive Surgery and Pure Aesthetica. Dr. Freedman is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. With over 40 publications in medical journals and textbooks, Dr. Freedman continues to perform research and lectures nationally on the latest developments in cosmetic surgery.
Infection Control + Prevention
- Your health and safety is a priority for us at Pure Aesthetica.
- If you have any covid, cold, or flu symptoms ⚠ please CANCEL your appointment.
- Clients must wash their hands upon entering the spa suite.
- All Pure Therapists are certified in Infection Control and Prevention.
- We use EPA Registered disinfectant throughout the spa.
- All touched surfaces are regularly disinfected throughout the day.
- Treatment rooms are disinfected and "ozonated" between clients.
- Our UV Air Cleaners runs continuously during open hours.
- Our daily deep cleaning protocol includes steam-cleaning all floors, disinfecting all surfaces, and running our Ozone Generator/UV Air Cleaners every night after business hours.
Spa Etiquette
- Our Facial, Bodywork, and Brow|Lash In-Takes are paperless and sent electronically to you. Please complete prior to your appointment.
- Your therapist will have your Medi Form(s) printed and ready for your signature before your Medi Appointment.
- Plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment if you are a New Client. Existing Clients, please arrive 5 minutes early. Please understand your appointment will start and end on the scheduled time so that we can respect and accommodate the next client.
- Although we try to disguise outside interference with music and sound machines. Loud voices and noises do filter through. We ask that you please be mindful of others enjoying their relaxing services, and try to keep the volume of your conversations to a minimum. We also ask that you switch your cell phone to vibrate while at Pure Aesthetica.
- Please let your therapist know if you are comfortable or uncomfortable, too warm or too cold, or if a product is too stimulating. Your comfort and care is our greatest concern and priority.
- Please arrive make-up free to all appointments.
Cancellation / No-Show Policy
- In consideration of other clients and our therapists, we kindly ask you notify us of any cancellation 24 hours in advance for a single service and 48 hours in advance for multiple services.
- Appointment confirmation emails and texts are sent 48 hours before your appointment as a courtesy. Pure Aesthetica is not responsible for unconfirmed, missed appointments.
- Any appointment that is canceled without 24 hours notice will incur a 75% fee of the full appointment value.
- Any appointment that is a no-show will incur a 75% fee of the full appointment value.
- Our policy is designed to respect other clients and provide compensation to our therapists, who rely on us to manage their schedules and their careers, thank you for your understanding.
Prices and Gratuities
- Prices listed are per person. Gratuities are not included. We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Cash, and Pure Aesthetica gift certificates.
- Our best reward is your personal recommendation of Pure Aesthetica to a friend. If you would like to show your appreciation to your therapist, 15% to 20% gratuity on the full price of service is customary. Gratuities can be paid by credit card and cash.
- Pure Aesthetica reserves the rights to modify, discontinue, or raise prices on services and products without prior notification to ensure that maximum standards of service and quality are met.

- Online Product Purchases available 24x7.
- Products can be mailed to your address or picked up at our Del Ray, Alexandria location.
- You may return any unused skincare product within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.
Gift Certificate Policy
- Gift certificates are non-refundable and are valid 5 years from the date of purchase.
